The Lying Game theories

Spoiler alert! Consider yourself warned.

Buckle up, kids, it's gonna be a long post.

I'm a fan of PLL so it doesn't come by surprise that I'm a huge fan of The Lying Game as well. Unfortunately, ABC Family decided not to renew the show for another season due to high ratings of Twisted and The Fosters.

TLG had everything I want in a show: great (hot) actors, interesting plot, mystery, drama, witty one liners and amazing fashion. It's such a shame they cancelled it.

Since the series didn't follow Sara Shepard's book we can't know (and probably will never know) how the series was supposed to end. And, because I love theories, I have come up with several of my own.

But first, let's repeat all the questions that are left unanswered.

Who killed Derek? Who killed Theresa? Who pushed Alec? Is he dead? Who stole the necklace from Rebecca's drawer? Is it the same person who tried to frame Rebecca for Theresa's murder? What happened with Jordan and his brother? What happened to Annie Hobbs? Why is everyone who knows the secret of twins in danger? Why (when) did Thayer become muy loco? Did Ted and Kristin got back together? Did Sutton and Ethan got back together?

There are just so many questions and I'll try to answer some them. So these are my theories.

Remember in last episode when Rebecca told Alec that it's amazing how far people will go to protect the ones they love? We know that Alec was behind everything, so he was the one trying to protect someone and that someone is Derek's killer.

So that got me thinking, who did Alec love?

Obviously his daughter Mads, but I doubt she killed Derek. I mean the only motive she has is that he dumped her friend Char.

Another Alec's great love was his high school crush and best friend's (soon to be ex) wife Kristin. But she didn't know anything about the twins, the switch, Rebecca...she was absolutely clueless so I think it's safe to remove her from the suspects list.

That leaves me with one more suspect - Thayer. He didn't like Alec, but just a couple of episodes before the finale Alec told him that he loves him and that everything he did was for him. After that little tantrum Thayer threw in the finale I think he is definitely capable of murder. Don't forget, he didn't want Alec to get out of jail. That could also be because he was guilty and if they convict Alec for Derek's murder, the case would be closed and Thayer would be free.

He also knew that Derek is working for Alec and at the time Alec did seem like the bad guy, definitely not the guy who would be on the twins' side and who could be trusted. And Derek was dating Char and could get all the info on the twins' search for their real mother and what not. So Thayer killed him.

This is the best theory I could come up with.

Moving on to Theresa's murder.

Let's eliminate the suspects first.

We know Ted was with Theresa at the cemetery, but he said he didn't kill her. Okay, let's believe him.

Rebecca was with Ted, but he left later to leave the flowers at Derek's grave. Where was she? I don't think she killed anyone though, she's too obvious to be the killer. Plus, she's not really a killer material in my opinion. She's just good at planting evidence and framing others.

Emma was with Ethan. I can't remember where Laurel and Kristin were, but they really had no reason to kill Theresa. We also know Sutton didn't kill her because she called Theresa from the cabin a second before she ran out of the car chasing the potential killer (we later found out that was Ted).

Jordan could have done it. I can't remember where he left after the dinner, but it's possible Rebecca had told him to kill Theresa because she knows too much and she thought Ted was Derek's killer and she's protecting him.

Assuming that Thayer did kill Derek, Alec wanted to protect him. When Theresa got too close to finding out who Derek's killer is, Alec could have killed her. We know he didn't have an alibi - Mads said that he came back from the rehearsal dinner and then went out again. To kill Theresa? It's possible.

So I say that Theresa's killer is either Jordan or Alec. My money's on Alec.

Who pushed Alec though? Again, I don't think it was Rebecca. As I said before, she's too obvious.

Sutton, Ethan, Ted and Kristin didn't do it because they were all in the restaurant when Alec fell and Emma was with Thayer in his room. And it's also not Jordan because he got arrested.

That leaves us with Mads, Laurel and Dan.

It's possible, but not very likely, that Mads thought Alec called the police to get Jordan so she went to the roof and pushed him. But I repeat, this is highly unlikely, especially considering she was always, and most of the time the only one, on his side. And she's really tiny and probably not strong enough to push him so hard that he would fall.

Earlier that night, Laurel saw Alec with Kristin and she looked disgusted and a bit angry. Enough angry to (try to) kill him? But she's also not very strong and Alec is a big guy so...

Speaking of big guys, Dan is strong enough to push Alec. He had a motive - Alec was the one who told Theresa about the twins and that got her killed in the end. Not to mention he never really liked Alec anyway.

I think the person who stole the necklace from Theresa's drawer was someone from The Lying Gang. They were the only ones who knew about it since Jordan didn't tell that anyone else. Jordan and Mads didn't steal it because that person ran past them. Thayer was with Alec, Emma and Sutton with Ted and later Ted was with Alec and Sutton with Laurel. But I don't know where Emma went later or where Ethan was that whole time. So it was probably either Ethan or Emma (Thayer didn't know about the necklace.).

I don't know if Ted and Kristin worked things out, but I'm guessing that somewhere in the future writers of the show had that in plan. I also don't know how things could have went on with Emma/Ethan/Sutton triangle. And I don't know why Jordan killed his brother. As for Annie, she went back to that clinic in LA and was no longer important for the story.

Or was she?

Alec told Theresa that everyone who knows the secret about twins is in danger. At the time, only Ted, Kristin and Dan didn't know. Considering that none of the people who knew about the twins probably wouldn't kill to keep it a secret (and really, what reason do they have?), that means there was someone else out there and it's possible that that person is Derek's or Theresa's or Alec's killer.

That's it. That's all I have. If you have any theories or questions, you can email them to me, ask me on Ask.fm or Tumblr.

Pretty Little Liars -A Theory

SPOILER ALERT! If you haven't seen the show yet, or haven't seen some of the newer episodes (season 3 and 4) do not read this post. It contains spoilers from all seasons. Consider yourself warned. If you have seen the latest episode, you're welcome to read this.

I am a huge TV addict and currently one of my favorite shows is Pretty Little Liars. Unless you have been living under a rock for the past several years, I'm sure you've heard of this show and maybe you're a fan yourself.

Some of the reasons I adore this show are: hot actors (Ian Harding, Keegan Allen, Tyler Blackburn, Drew Van Acker, Julian Morris...), amazing clothes (I want their clothes (especially Hanna's) in my closet) and good old mystery.

I love mystery and I love detectives, forensics and crime scene investigators (after all, I've watched every CSI, I love Poirot and Miss Marple, I'm a huge Bones fan and I spend most of my time on Facebook playing Criminal Case) so it's only logical for me to love a show about four teen girls who're trying to figure out who killed their friend and who is a mysterious person who knows all their secrets and keeps sending them cryptic messages.

I love coming up with theories and collecting clues as the show progresses. Right now, there are so many unanswered questions that we're still hauling from the season one and more and more questions are asked every week.

But let's put questions aside for a moment and focus on some possible answers. One of the producers, Marlene King, said that we won't find out who the Big A is until the very last episode.

I found a very interesting (and possible) theory as to who it may be.

Note: this theory isn't mine and I don't want to take credit for it. I accidentally stumbled upon it and found it interesting so I wanted to share it on my blog.

P.S. I'll definitely have trouble trusting Wren now.

In 1x02- Wren orders Vodka Soda for himself. in 3x03 A is shown grabbing a Vodka Soda out of a freezer and poring some for themselves.

In 3x07- A says to Hanna “See how easy it is for me to get your blood?". Wren is a Doctor, we all know it is easy for him to get anybody’s blood.

=There are other examples of him being a Dr that may come in handy- like at the top of my head: Emily’s drug test’s results.

In 2x21- Wren mentions he has OCD. in 3x10 A is hanging the A hoodies with care and it seems like the person has OCD.

In 1x04- Is the first time the girls block A and all the other unknown phone numbers. Spencer obviously should have Wren’s phone number since he’s her sister’s boyfriend and she has a crush on him. In the same episode, later in the episode Wren comes by and when Spencer asks what he’s doing there he says he called, but Spencer blocked his number.

=Only Melissa and Ian supposedly knew their baby’s name. “Tyler". What if the baby was actually Wren? Then Wren would know the baby’s name, as well.

In 2x04- A trashes Dr. Sullivan’s office and wrote on the wall : “Nosey Bitches die- A". In the American Dictionary the word is spelled “Nosy" and in British dic it is spelled “Nosey". Wren is British.

=A faked Ian’s suicide. Ian shot himself, and it was pretty convincing. There are drugs that would make people act like that, and Wren has access to drugs that could make Ian do something or make him weak enough for Wren to actually kill.

=The missing page of the Autopsy report that Garret and Jenna get rid of, could have been easily taken by Wren.

In 2x12- Spencer’s doll asked her to keep Toby safe which resulted in them breaking up and then she got together with Wren. Nice bonus, right?

In 2x13- Alison mentions knowing a Dr who can prescribe them some pills (Anti- pregnancy). Wren has a thing for younger girls, and we know Alison was pregnant…Could it have been Wren’s?

In 2x20- There is a photo of the girls standing in front of the morgue door at the hospital. The picture is clearly taken from security cameras and Wilden says they “received" the photo. Wren has access to the security cameras at the Hospital.

In 3x01- A’s message “Mona played with dolls, I play with body parts. Game on, bitches." Seriously, Wren does play with body parts. He is a doctor.

=Wren told Hanna his dad is a schizophrenic, and you can inherit this mental illness.

=Of all the boyfriends in the show, Caleb and Toby are the ones attacked personally. (Caleb’s mom, etc- Toby, we all know how)Wren has had “moments" with Spencer and Hanna who were dating Toby and Caleb at those moments.

In 3x10-in the final scene we see A watching the news. When the camera pans over to A using the remote to change the channel we see a box with the words “Hopkins" written on it. Hopkins is a medical school.

=Money, Wren has lots of.
=Age, Wren is over 21 so…pretty much can do anything.

Not that I believe anything Marlene says, but:

*Marlene tweeted a link to a theory on Wetpaint. Noel, Jenna and Wren were the suspects in the theory.

*Marlene King has said that the third A is someone who we know quite well and has been in the show since the start, and Wren fits this description perfectly.

From comments:
=red coats was a term to refer to the British back during the revolutionary war.

Another very interesting thing is Wren’s dad might have been Byron’s brother- who was mentally ill. This is why Aria is the least targeted person.

http://pltheories.com/post/45674687003/a-team-suspect-wren-kingston-suspicious-events

- Showed up drunk to Spencer’s house with a potted plant as a gift (which he accidentally ruined when he dropped it). Later that night, the liars found the broken pieces of the pot fashioned into a tombstone (S1 E4).

-Eddie Lamb said that Wren is trouble. (This is inspired from the site)

What do you think about this theory? Did it shock you? Would you want Wren to be A? Do you have any theories as to who A may be? You can leave your answers in the comments, email them, or leave them on my Tumblr and Ask.fm page.

Btw, Pretty Little Theories is an amazing site that has all the info, timelines, clues and many more stuff related to PLL.

6 reasons why I love summer

Everyone knows that summer begins on June 21, but for me it starts with the last day of school which is (in Croatia) this Friday. That's why I created my list of reasons why I love summer which is, along with Christmastime, my favorite time of the year.

1. The weather

I don't know about you, but I love sunny warm days. Not too cold, not too hot. I can already see myself lying on the beach reading a good book while summer breeze is playing with my hair. A bit too poetic? Admittedly, in Croatia summer can get a bit too hot at times, but that's why most of us escapes to the seaside. Or we let the sprinklers cool us.

2. No school

'nuff said.

3. Vacation

I love travelling. I love packing. I love travelling by car, train, plane, whatever. I love staying in a hotel or a rented apartment.  I love sightseeing. I love taking pictures. I love buying souvenirs. I love sending postcards. I love travelling.

4. Festivals

In Croatia we have a lot of summer festivals - music festivals, film festivals, children festivals - all kinds of festivals for everyone. This year I'm going to InMusic Festival in Zagreb, Motovun Fim Festival and Dubrovnik Summer Festival. But I'm also going to France this year so I might find some festival to attend even though I missed Cannes Film Festival.

5. Fashion

Dresses, shorts, skirts, t-shirts vs. coats, scarves, gloves, boots. In my case summer clothes win.

6. Ice cream

Lots and lots and lots of ice cream. And all flavors too, I'm not picky (when it comes to ice cream). Chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, lemon, punch, stracciatella, whatever flavor count me in. I'm always in a mood for ice cream. Always.

And finally...
